Clinical Pharmacology
Professor Pirmohamed, the Director of the Wolfson Centre for Personalised Medicine and NHS Chair of Pharmacogenetics, is the Specialist Group Lead for Pharmacology and Pharmacogenetics. Professor Pirmohamed is the Chief Investigator for a large number of research studies in this field that have been adopted onto the NIHR CRN Portfolio. There are currently fourteen portfolio studies that are actively recruiting with six open to accepting additional sites. There is one study currently in set-up that has the potential to be adopted to the portfolio. A short summary of each portfolio study to include patient recruitment and study progress will be provided below.
