Cancer LSG picks up its prizes
Winners of three LSG awards
The biggest winners at our first Local Specialty Group award ceremony in 2011 was Cancer. It picked up the following three awards:
- Cancer - Highest Recruitment into NIHR Portfolio by LSG with 11,807 participants
- Cancer - Highest Number of NIHR Portfolio Commercial Studies by LSG with 17 studies
- Cancer - Highest Number of Studies entered into CSP by LSG with 30 studies

The other winning LSG was Neurology who took away the 'Most Improved Recruitment into NIHR Portfolio' award with an 1800% increase in recruitment compared with the previous six months.
