Our Remit
is to support research staff working in the NHS and the training we provide free of charge is intended for research staff who are
funded by CLRN or another research network, or working on NIHR Portfolio Studies and employed by the NHS or have an honorary contract or a ‘Letter of Access’ Details of our training courses are on the form below
- One form should be used per person
- Please ensure all sections are completed and correct
- Please note that telephone, fax or postal bookings are not accepted.
Attending training events
Due to the amount of training we plan to deliver in 2012 and the logistics involved in arranging an event, we are unable to provide any additional courses on an 'on-demand' basis for specific research groups or teams. Considering the training needs of research staff at the feasibility stage of a new study may avoid the 'panic stations' situations we are presented with.
Every course has a maximum capacity to ensure the efficient running of the event to comply with the venue's stated limits. No one should attend any course without having made an application via this web site and recieving confirmation from us that a place has been booked.
Cancellations
If you have to cancel your place on any of our training events, please inform us as soon as possible. Places are limited and there are always other people waiting for these places and we can re-allocate if we are told. Anyone who consistently does not cancel their place and then does not attend (i.e. ‘Did Not Attend’ or ‘DNA’) our courses will make themselves ineligible to attend future training events.
