The CLRN provides advice and support to its local member organisations and to anyone involved in supporting, facilitating or conducting clinical research in the NHS. This is provided through a network of front line advisers based in the core RM&G team or within local NHS organisations.
R&D Cluster Offices
London (South) CLRN have entered into a joint agreement with non-teaching Trusts in South London to create two R&D Cluster Offices.
The two offices; one for South East and one for South West London are providing a centralised function for researchers to gain the necessary permissions required to set-up and carry out National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Portfolio adopted clinical research at hospital sites signed up to the R&D Cluster.
The Clusters provide on-site R&D support and all processes remain the same. As part of the Cluster, Trust staff can access additional support for research set-up and training provided onsite via the CLRN.
The Trusts that form the clusters are;
South West London R&D Cluster
- Croydon Health Services NHS Trust
- Kingston NHS Foundation Trust
South East London R&D Cluster
- Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals)
- Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust
The only change for researchers will be a new point of contact for some Trusts.
View your R&D Contacts on our Local R&D Contacts page.
Please contact your CLRN RM&G team or your R&D office when you have a query, require support or have feedback to provide at any stage in your research.
