Research Design Service

Research Design Service (RDS) London is part of the NIHR and provides help to those preparing research proposals for submission to peer reviewed funding competitions for applied health or social care research.

With centres based at King’s College London, Imperial College London, Queen Mary and University College London, it is focused on supporting applications for funding from NHS researchers and those working in partnership with the NHS. Priority is given to those applying for NIHR Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) funding.

Advice is provided free of charge and is available through use of online resource and consultations with experts.

Research Design Service (RDS) London drop-in sessions

The RDS London drop-in sessions are an opportunity for researchers to meet the RDS London team and find out how we can help them and talk about specific research proposals. We will have a range of experts at these sessions so will be able to cover many topics from general information and guidance on research design to statistics and Patient and Public Involvement.
