CCRN is made up of 25 Comprehensive Local Research Networks (CLRNs). All of the CLRNs have nominated Local Leads, as have most of the Devolved Nations, which make up the membership of the national Ear, Nose and Throat Specialty Group.
The Ear, Nose and Throat Specialty Group works with other, relevant stakeholders to develop research strategies that will promote the successful delivery of current studies. They also work to plan new studies that can be delivered in the current NHS setting.
The Group’s membership is diverse and involves physicians, hearing scientists, audiologists, speech therapists, hearing therapists, teachers of the deaf, and balance specialists, with potential interaction with neurologists, ophthalmologists, maxillofacial and plastic surgeons, respiratory physicians and immunologists.
