Hepatology
The Hepatology Specialty Group is one of 23
Specialty Groups which provide national networks
of topic-specific expertise. These groups are key to
the success of the CCRN. They work at both national
and local levels to ensure the successful delivery of
research within their specialties. This means ensuring
that studies are delivered to target and on time.
The remit of the Hepatology Specialty Group is to support a national portfolio of structured research studies related to the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of liver disease. The Hepatology Specialty Group’s portfolio includes:
- Acute and chronic liver disease including liver failure
