Reproductive Health - Care for WMN

Reproductive Health Map.PNG

The West Midlands North Comprehensive Local Research Network, identified Reproductive Health and Childbirth related research as a priority area and supported the conception of a specialty group to support this priority area. The Childbirth And REproductive health for CLRN West Midlands North (CARE for WMN) network was set up by the Reproductive Health and Childbirth Specialty Group within the West Midlands North CLRN. The main aim of this research network is to facilitate accrual into portfolio studies between the 5 main maternity units within the CLRN. This network is composed of academics, R&D managers, multi-professional clinicians and consumers.

Through the speciality group lead and local R&D teams, CARE for WMN works closely with the Reproductive Health and Childbirth National Specialty Group and with the executive team and board members within the CLRN (WMN). The network now has a well established infrastructure that has enabled the specialty group within the CLRN to achieve high accrual rates into several portfolio studies.
