Wawick Medical School Clinical Trials Unit
Warwick Clinical Trials Unit (WCTU) is an academic unit undertaking clinical trials addressing real issues of local, national and international importance. Randomised controlled trials are developed in selective, focused areas that are consistent with the research strategy of Warwick Medical School. Research Design Service West Midlands
The Research Design Service for the West Midlands (RDS WM) is part of the infrastructure of the National Institute for Health Research. It is one of ten services in England making up the national RDS.
Their primary aim is to help NHS researchers, and others working in partnership with the NHS, in the West Midlands area who have a ‘good idea’ and want to turn that into a research proposal for submission to peer-reviewed funding programmes in applied health and social care.
The RDS WM has a small central office which deals with general enquiries, and three Hubs based in the Universities of Birmingham, Keele and Warwick which provide support to researchers in developing their ideas and research proposals.
The Warwick Hub covers Coventry, Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
