The NIHR CRN Portfolio is a database of clinical research studies that are supported by the NIHR Clinical Research Network in England.

Details of clinical research studies which meet specific eligibility criteria are recorded in a portfolio homepage image database known as the UK Clinical Research Network Portfolio, which comprises the NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) Portfolio in England and the corresponding Portfolios of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The NIHR CRN Portfolio is a database of clinical research studies that are supported by the NIHR Clinical Research Networks in England. Data from the NIHR CRN Portfolio is used to inform the allocation of NHS research infrastructure funding and supports the performance management of the NIHR Clinical Research Networks.

How to get a study included on the Portfolio
Which studies are eligible for inclusion? Each of the four UK Health Administrations that utilise the UK Clinical Research Network Portfolio Database have developed criteria for determining which studies can be included in their respective portfolios.
