Research People make a vital contribution to the NHS. From GPs to pharmacists and from nurses to trial coordinators, a wide range of health professionals are using research to improve treatments and services.
And you don't need a white coat to influence research. Patients, carers and families are Research People too. They play a key role in making research work, so that better research takes place and more people take part.
The videos below focus on the experiences of Research People. They have filmed themselves on hand-held digital cameras, at home, at work and sometimes on their travels. The films are all one to four minutes long. They offer you an insight into a range of research roles, but taken as a whole they aim to give you a better understanding of what clinical research involves and how we all benefit.
