How to find the NIHR CRN Coordinating Centre in Leeds

By road

From M1 Northbound, A1/M1 Southbound
Follow signs for M621 Leeds. Leave the M621 at Junction 3 (signposted Leeds City Centre, Holbeck) and merge onto the A653. Follow signs for City Centre. Proceed on to the City Centre Loop Road. Follow signs for University of Leeds. Turn left on to Clarendon Road.

From M62
Leave M62 at J29. Follow signs for M1 North. Then as above.

By train

Leeds station connects us with all major UK cities and has regular services to a large number of different locations. The NIHR CRN Coordinating Centre can be reached by taxi in 5-10 minutes (See 'By road' information).

Walking

The University campus is a 20 minute walk from Leeds city station. Come out of the station into City square; with the Queens Hotel behind you, walk straight up Park Row. Continue up Park Row until the first major junction. Cross straight over The Headrow and continue up Cookridge Street. At the next set of lights go straight on passing Millennium Square on your left and Leeds City Museum on your right.

Turn left on to Woodhouse Lane. You'll pass Leeds Metropolitan University on your left and our University campus begins in another 50 metres or so, on your left.

By bus

Vist the West Yorkshire Metro website and First Leeds for timetables and general information.

There is a free city bus which stops at the bus and train stations and the southern end of campus (near the back of Leeds General Infirmary A&E) every 10 minutes from 6.30 am - 7.30 pm Mondays to Saturday.

By air

Leeds is served by two major airports: Leeds Bradford and ­Manchester. Leeds Bradford airport is approximately seven miles away from the NIHR CRN Coordinating Centre.


How to find the NIHR CRN Coordinating Centre in London

NIHR CRN CC London office is a minute's walking distance from Goodge Street underground station (Northern Line) which is linked to Kings Cross Station. It is six minutes from Warren Street station (Victoria and Northern Lines), 10 minutes from Euston Square underground station (Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines). It is a 15 minute walk from Euston mainline station and 20 minutes walk from Kings Cross.
