The James Cook University Hospital is host organisation for County Durham & Tees Valley (CDTV) Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN), one of the 25 CLRNs across England which form part of the NIHR Comprehensive Clinical Research Network. It is part of the National Institute for Health Research and forms part of the UK Clinical Research Network.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual with experience of commercial clinical research to play a key role in this important and dynamic national initiative. As CLRN Industry Manager you will join the CLRN Core Team to lead on the continuing development and implementation of appropriate local systems to ensure the set-up, co-ordination and management of commercially sponsored clinical trials within the CLRN. You will manage the local interface between investigators, Industry and the NIHR CRN Industry team to ensure that the CLRN supports commercial clinical trials in a consistent and reliable manner.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the commercial trial life cycle, including experience of the set up and performance management of clinical research studies.
The role will involve travel across the Network
