Support for study delivery

Our support doesn’t stop when you have permission to start your study. We actively manage our Portfolio studies to ensure we do everything possible to help researchers deliver the study to time and in line with patient involvement targets.

If your study is on our Portfolio, you will receive help with study support.This may include accessing NHS facilities and equipment, and the use of trained research support staff to take samples, run clinics or manage patient data.

We also help you to identify and recruit patients onto your study, and offer advice on alternative recruitment centres if you encounter difficulties meeting the necessary number of participants.

To support effective delivery, we offer excellent training in Good Clinical Practice, and we help to manage the Research Passport scheme that reduces the bureaucracy associated with giving individual researchers clearance to work in NHS sites.
